Nurse Practitioner – Rheumatology (Outpatient Only)

Salary: Starting at $150,000 per year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Time Off: 2 weeks paid time off annually
Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join an outpatient-only Rheumatology practice. This role focuses on the evaluation and management of patients with autoimmune and inflammatory rheumatic diseases in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage outpatient rheumatology patients
- Conduct new patient and follow-up visits
- Order and interpret laboratory and imaging studies
- Develop and adjust treatment plans for chronic rheumatologic conditions
- Prescribe medications and monitor therapeutic response
- Provide patient education and disease counseling
- Collaborate closely with rheumatologist and clinical staff
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record
Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner license (Family or Adult preferred)
- National NP certification
- Current state licensure and DEA registration (or eligibility)
- Rheumatology or internal medicine experience preferred (training provided for motivated candidates)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Work Schedule & Benefits
- Outpatient only – no hospital rounding
- No nights, weekends, or holidays
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
