Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Rheumatology - New Grads Welcomed!
We are seeking two Part-Time or one Full-Time licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established Rheumatology care center in Ada, Michigan. We offer a flexible schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week.
River City Rheumatology is a West Michigan rheumatology clinic founded by board-certified rheumatologist James Birmingham, M.D., who brings over 20 years of experience in rheumatology and the treatment of autoimmune diseases and rheumatic conditions. Conveniently located in Ada, MI near Grand Rapids, our West Michigan clinic welcomes patients of all ages. We provide advanced, patient-centered care for a broad range of autoimmune and inflammatory disorders, supported by a full-service infusion suite and a comprehensive, holistic wellness program designed to promote long-term health and healing.

Responsibilities:
- Examine patients and their medical records
- Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)
- Diagnose and Propose treatments for autoimmune and arthritic diseases
- Prescribe medications and IV Infusion Treatments
- Maintain accurate records and schedules
- Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
- Educate patients and their family members on diseases and treatment plans
- Oversee patients’ overall health and promote good health practices
- Supervise infusion suite when physician is not on-site
- Advance professional knowledge and conduct research
- Other duties as assigned by collaborating physician
Requirements:
- New grads or experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Rheumatology, Dermatology, Orthopedics, Nephrology, Internal Medicine/Pediatrics are welcome to apply
- Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Strong ethics, integrity, and reliable
- Team player with a positive attitude, patience and optimism
- Exhibits curiosity and a willingness to learn
- Valid Michigan Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
