Responsibilities:
-Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations; write progress notes; prepare patient workups and summaries noting pertinent positive and negative findings; obtain psychosocial history relevant to patient care, and assume responsibility for developing therapeutic relationships with patients

-Order and schedule laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures; explain necessity, preparation, nature and anticipated effects of scheduled diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to the patient

Qualifications

1- Licensed in state of Texas. Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Rheumatology experience is a plus.

2-Texas License (Required) APRN-CNP or Master of Physician Assistant Studies (Required)

3-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members

We are seeking a full-time, licensed NP/PA interested in joining a successful Outpatient Rheumatology Practice is very desirable area of DFW. Rheumatology experience is preferred, but not required as work ethic, independent thinking, and willingness to learn take precedence.
