We deliver exceptional, high-quality care to patients and are seeking Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants with 3+ years of rheumatology experience.
Job overview
As a Virtual Rheumatology NP or PA, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional care to patients with rheumatologic conditions through our telemedicine platform, from diagnosis through to longitudinal care. You will provide comprehensive patient assessments, order diagnostic imaging and labs, treatment plans, and continuity of care management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rheumatology and feel comfortable providing care autonomously and at the same time working in teams with rheumatologists depending on the case. We are looking for experience, an empathic and patient centered approach, strong clinical rapport, clinical skills and passion for rheumatology.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual consults and assessments of patients with rheumatologic conditions
- Order appropriate diagnostic imaging and labs and use it to provide diagnosis and evidence-based treatment plans, including appropriate therapies
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure evidence-based practices align with patient care plan
- Educate patients on their conditions, treatment plan using a multidisciplinary approach
- Proficient and up to date recording in electronic medical record (EMR)
- Commitment to continuing education and gaining knowledge in advancements in rheumatology
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience at a rheumatology practice (5+ years preferred)
- A valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Established ability in working autonomously while delivering remote high-quality care
- Strong clinical skills in assessing, diagnosing, and managing rheumatologic conditions
